Embakasi East Mp Babu Owino has today invited Kenyans to the first launch of the Mr and Mrs Embakasi East Cultural Extravaganza.
The event will be held this Saturday, December 8 at Mihango Primary School from 5:00pm and is open to the public.
Through this initiative the MP hopes to give young men and women a platform to showcase their natural and God-given talents ranging from public speaking, musical performance, dance and so on with a view to celebrating our shared African culture.
The Member of Parliament also mentioned that he has invited local media producers and talent scouts to attend the function with a view to securing work opportunities for our youth in the arts.
My office of the youthful Member of Parliament has also organized for various cash prizes and gifts to be awarded to the winners alongside certificates to participants.
“I welcome and encourage you all to be a part of this festivity as we create more opportunities for positivity among our young people.” he said
Babu Owino is known for carrying out different initiatives to ensure that the needs of his people are met.
Mr & Mrs Embakasi East will give an opportunity to many youth to practice talent and network with people who will be present during the event.
