Fantasy Premier League players will want to act fast as Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has not travelled with the squad to face Watford tonight at Vicarage Road. The Argentine forward suffered an abductor injury at the weekend and will now miss out on this crucial Premier League match, with Gabriel Jesus the man likely to start up front in his place.
Another Man City man who misses out is left-back Zinchenko who also has not travelled with the squad with Fabian Delph to start in that position for Pep Guardiola’s men.
Leroy Sane is expected to start and keep up his good form after scoring a brace at West Ham this weekend, the absence of Benjamin Mendy has allowed Guardiola to trust Sane to provide the width on the left-hand side and he is reaping the rewards of that decision.
Raheem Sterling could also be rested as City travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea at the weekend. Aguero is also a doubt for that game as it is not yet sure if he will be able to recover from the injury he has sustained.
If Sterling does miss out, Riyad Mahrez will start from the right as City look to continue their unbeaten start to the season.
With Kevin De Bruyne still out, Bernardo Silva and David Silva are set to continue their partnership alongside Fernandinho in the centre of the park.
John Stone and Aymeric Laporte are set to continue their solid partnership at the heart of the defence in front of Ederson whilst Kyle Walker will start at right-back.
Do you stick Aguero on you FPL bench or get rid completely?
