Manchester United boss remains mum on signing Africa’s best

Jose Mourinho refused to discuss Manchester United’s reported interest in Kalidou Koulibaly, saying: “He is a Napoli player. And I don’t speak about players from other clubs.”

The Red Devils have been linked with a £94million move for the Napoli star as the January transfer window approaches.

And Mourinho, who fielded Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic in defence against Southampton, was asked about United’s reported pursuit of the defender in his post-match interview.

The Portuguese gave very little away however, telling the press: “I cannot answer your question.

“If is true, if is not true, I cannot answer to your question, maybe your question is the first one about the market and maybe the next press conference I have two more questions, and maybe the next press conference I have three more.”

Is he the best option fro Manchester United?
