Put Some Respect on My Name!! Kutuny Lands on Murkomen With Some Vocal Blows

The Political landscape in the Rift Valley is getting messy, noisy and with casualties. The first casualties to this political mess seem to be Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny.

During a disscussion on Citizen TV’s News Night, the two leaders went on a low by digging into their past lives way before fame, money and power came in.

Murkomen claimed that MP Joshua Kutuny was picked from the street while selling charcoal by DP William Ruto.

” William Ruto Picked you from dust while selling charcoal and made you who you are,” said Murkomen

Joshua Kutuny did not take that allegation lightly as he also hit back at Murkomen with claims that the senator is not grateful as it is him (MP Kutuny) who funded his first campaign and bought him his first Toyota Harrier car which he used to campaign during the 2013 elections.

“I picked you off the streets of Eldoret and made you Senator in 2013. I campaigned for you. I bought you the first car you used to camapaign. The Toyota Harrier. I used to give you money for upkeep.” said Kutuny.

The two were seemingly out to completely destroy each other with Murkomen launching a series of attacks on Kutuny, attacks that Kutuny responded to real quick.

According to Murkomen,  MP Joshua Kutuny is wanted by the FBI and CIA for being a key conduit of drugs and associate of the Akasha’s in the ongoing trial of members of drug trafficking family.

Senator Murkomen warned Kutuny to be careful as he would soon have to face the wrath of CIA and FBI because while he (Murkomen) and others have been urging farmers to diversify elsewhere, “Kutuny diversified into pharmaceuticals.”

Kutuny on the the hand accused Murkomen of being behind the coaching of the ICC witnesses in a bid to have DP Ruto locked up at the Hague.

This comes just days after Former ICC Witness William Soi alleged that it was Joshua Kutuny that was behind the alleged revival of ICC cases involving William Ruto.

The witness, who recanted his evidence against Ruto and joined the DP’s defence team named Cheranganyi MP Joshua Kutuny as one of those working with State House operatives and ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda to revive the case against Ruto before 2022.

However, Kutuny dismissed the allegation and said it was a “desperate fight back by cartels involved in the maize and fertilizer scandals”.

“Let them pay farmers and deal with the issues we raised. Such claims on ICC issues are just but tears from the cartels who are feeling the heat for frustrating farmers and stealing from the NCPB,” he said.

The MP described the allegations as “nonsense” and said he would not be cowed from speaking on the rights of farmers.
