‘Media Queen’ Betty Kyalo all set to make major Tv comeback

Former KTN news anchor Betty Kyalo is set and ready to get back to the screen as she shared her excitement online.

The news of her resignation from the local Tv station hit the social media platforms  towards the end of August and a farewell party was done for her later in September.

Betty Kyalo is one of the media queens who have been in the industry for years and how she takes up her roles is quite fascinating and lovable.

Wonder if there is anyone who has watched her and failed to notice her professionalism and enthusiasm in her job.

Betty Kyalo joins in the long list of anchors who quit  from KTN  which lost prime news presenter and talk show host Yvonne Okwara, Kiswahili reporter Mashirima Kapombe and managing editor Joe Ageyo to their rival media house.

The celebrated news anchor is loved for her personality both in her work circles as well as her outgoing character.

According to local business news site Business Today, Betty is joined Media Max LTD  in a bid to grow their K24 numbers. Online sources say that K24’s viewership has been in the decline, with its ratings dropping over the years to below top five stations in Kenya.

Perhaps with a huge following and her experience in the industry,  the high-ranking news anchor is ready to make a difference and of course she will.

The new program she will be anchoring is titled ‘Weekend with Betty’ which is the K24 weekend edition.

Making this announcement on her social media page, Betty Kyalo thanked the media house for their warm welcome and mentioned how she has missed being the girl behind the screens.

Are you ready for Betty Kyalo as she takes up her new roles?
