Tanguy Ndombele wanted by Everton, Tottenham & Man City

It must feel good as a footballer to know that three top clubs are competing to sign him/her. According to the our sources, Everton are interested in signing Lyon midfielder, Tanguy Ndombele.

After spending the season on loan at Lyon, Ndombele signed for the French outfit from SC Amines for a fee of around £7 million in July of 2018.

Ndombele has also been a target of both Man City and Tottenham in recent months.

Ndombele played 34 games for his first club Amines, in which he scored two and assisted seven.

Including his loan spell, Ndombele has made 65 appearances across all competitions for his now permanent club, Lyon.

So far, Ndombele has scored three and assisted 12 for Lyon and is enjoying an impressive start to the 2018/19 campaign where he has managed to score two and assist four in 18 games.

Ndombele is naturally a centre mid, however, he can also play as a defensive mid or as an attacking midfielder.

Ndombele an alternative to Andre Gomes? Everton currently have Barcelona central midfielder Andre Gomes on a season-long loan.

After recovering from an injury Gomes has started Everton’s last five league games, putting in some very impressive displays.

As a result, Marco Silva has expressed a desire to sign Gomes on a permanent deal in the summer.

“I think in the right moment we have to do something to achieve one player like Andre.

“You go there in the right moment. Andre is enjoying his time but we don’t want to put this pressure of a decision on him. It is early.

“When you make a loan, and not just Andre but Zouma as well, if you can do something tomorrow then you have to do it but football is not like that.”

However, should Barcelona not allow Gomes to leave, perhaps Ndombele would be a solid replacement for the Portuguese midfielder.
