British supermodel Naomi Campbell is Malindi for a working holiday. Nairobi Campbell reportedly arrived in the country four days ago for a photo shoot in an international magazine.
The 48-year old is believed to be staying at Lion in the Sun Beach Resort. However, journalists have been denied a chance to meet the model as the hotel management said that Campbell does not want to be interviewed.
Campbell is who is accompanied by a 13-member crew in a few words announced that she was in the 254 but did not give any information about her visit neither has she posted any photos while in Malindi.

The super model’s visit is a major boost for tourism especially at a time when tourists may be wary about security in the Coastal town after the recent attack in Chakama area when gunmen opened fire and abducted an Italian aid worker whose whereabouts are still unknown.
Naomi is of Afro-Jamaican descent born to a Jamaican mother, Valerie Morris but grew up in Rome. Campbell later moved back to London, where she was born, to stay with relatives as her mother, working as a modern dancer, travelled across Europe with the Troupe Fantastica.
The superstar who started her modelling career at the tender age of 15, is not only known for her prowess in the runaway but also for her fashion ventures and acting career. Campbell has featured in a number of music videos and played roles in prominent films including TV Series Empire where she plays Camila Marks.
The super Model has not only graced over 500 magazine covers but also walked for and featured in campaigns for countless big fashion houses including Burberry, Dolce and Gabbana, Chanel, Versace, Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent.
Naomi Campbell was the first African-American model to feature on the cover of Time Magazine, the French Vogue as well as the Russian Vogue. She is also the first black model to appear on the cover of the British Vogue.
