Another Arsenal legend set for managerial duties

League Two side Macclesfield Town are reportedly in talks with former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell for the managerial position.

Campbell won 73 caps for England and made 646 while playing for London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. He started his career in 1992 and ended it 2011 and now the bottom side in League Two have approached him in a bid to save their season.

Mark Yates was sacked by the club in October and Danny Whitaker and Neil Howarth have been taking charge of the team so far. Campbell has no managerial experience but his stint with  England U21 may prove vital should he be confirmed.

Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira, Campbell’s teammates at Arsenal have ventured into management with Henry trying out with Monaco while Vieira is at Nice.
