Uhuru -Joho Bromance wins relationship of the year, Coast now eating big.

By now many people agree with the saying that politics is a dirty game. Today we you are throwing stones for the politicians same same day they are sharing a plate.

Who ever expected that President Uhuru Kenyatta and Mombasa Govervor Ali Hassan Joho could ever embrace each other? The leaders during election periods were busy hurling stones at each other but right now Joho is becoming Uhuru’s right hand man.

The bromance is so much beneficial to the coastal people. They are now eating from the pot they have missed for a while.

On Tuesday morning, Cabinet Secretary James Macharia was at the Mombasa International Airport to launch the lighting and rehabilitation of the runway as tourism boost is expected.

Mombasa Airport sits at 61 metres (200 ft) above sea level, the airport has two runways; one which measures 3,350 metres (10,990 ft) in length and Runway 2 measures 1,260 metres (4,130 ft) in length. Runway 1 is also known as Runway 21, while Runway 2 is also known as Runway 03. Runway 1 is equipped with an (Instrument Landing System).

There are two terminals at the airport. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. terminal one is mainly used for international traveling while terminal 2 is used for domestic traveling. Flights like Kenya Airways use Terminal 1 for both domestic and international.

Mombasa Airport was expanded to international standards in 1979. Aircraft maintenance facilities for private and light- to medium-size commercial aircraft are provided from government and private hangars by Benair Aircraft Engineering, licensed by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) as an approved maintenance organisation (AMO).
