Manchester United handed boost ahead of Crystal Palace

Manchester United have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of Crystal Palace clash as Diogo Dalot confirmed that he is fit and ready to return to action.

Dalot has endured a tough start to life at Manchester United as he suffered an injury that required surgery and after returning to action he picked up another injury. The Portuguese has been out of action since September but could return in the fixture against Palace.

His return will be good news to Jose Mourinho with Luke Shaw suspended for the tie, meaning that Ashley Young can be deployed at left back and Dalot in his natural right-back position.

Dalot has made only two appearances under Jose Mourinho one in the Champions League against Young Boys and the other against Derby County in the Carabao Cup. The 19-year-old noted that he is fit in an Instagram post, “That feeling when you’re ready to help your team again. Good week to everyone.”
