Raila had released a dssier claiming President Uhuru failed to include Waiguru’s name on a list of corrupt State officers.

Uhuru’s list saw several senior government officials, including Cabinet Secretaies lose their jobs.

Waiguru had also threatened to sue research firm IPSOS for naming her among the “most corrupt people” in a survey released by Tom Wolf. She accused the firm of being used by her political detractors to blackmail her.

Today was surely a great day for Waiguru with news that EACC had already established that her main accuser Josephine Kabura was lied in her affidavit.

In her affidavit, Kabura stated that she witnessed cash being carried in bags from banks and that Waiguru was responsible for the loot that almost brought the National Youth Service to it’s knees.

Waiguru had written to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission seeking the outcome of investigations into an affidavit that was sworn by the key suspect in the National Youth Service scandal Josephine Kabura through her legal team.
