Standard media group-owned KTN has suffered a huge blow after top notch news anchor resigned.
On Monday, sports news anchor Abuller Ahmed took to social media to announce that he was leaving KTN.
Ahmed thanked his fans and colleagues for working closely and supporting him during his three year tenure at Standard media.
Sources who did not want to be named revealed that the first-class sports anchor is set to join Switch TV.
He joined KTN after being ranked among the top three contestants for “The Presenter season 2”.
The journalist is a graduate of Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.

He is married to Mariam Mjahid who is a Swahili news anchor at the KU TV owned by Kenyatta University.
His resignation comes days after radio queen Patricia Kihoro landed a segment on KTN News.
The contemporary African music lover who runs the Sunday night Homeboyz Radio show dubbed Afro-Central will be appearing on KTN News as part of the Friday Briefing team.
Apparently, the presenter had been in the dark about the offer until Friday when she was invited to the station, thinking she’ll be in for a quick interview.
