President Uhuru: “Kenya is not immune to terrorism attacks.”

Do you think Kenya is in a state to defend itself in case of terrorist attack? How prepared do you think our defense forces are always alert in the case of an attack especially from terrorists?

Kenya we have heard a number of massive terrorists attacks. Only 5 years ago Westgate was attacked and the terrorist held the mall hostage and the people inside for more than 24 hours. This showed our preparedness in case of attacks that even claimed a number of lives.

Garissa University is not forgotten. The attack was so much brutal that led to lose of students lives from armed terrorists.

In 1998, the United Nations was attacked and many people lost their lives.

since then the country is struggling to curb this deadly activities led by terrorist. A number of attacks have been executed by the Al-Shabaab militants and Jihadists groups across the world.

The President in his interview with France 24 said that the country is not yet immune to terrorist attacks. Although the President has said that the country has said rules in collaboration with the AMISON army to combat the terror attacks across the region.

The President has accepted that Al-Shabaab is the threat to most East African countries. But the countries are struggling to combat them back in their territories.

President in France during the mark of 100 years since the stopping of world war I, said that corruption is always the enemy of development in the country. But during the interview confirmed that his government is in a stable condition to root out this epidermic.
