Fighting between the members of the county assemblies has been a common trend in across Kenya. I’m not sure who told them that fist fights always wins a discussion?
Most MCAs have turned the county assemblies into wrestle rings. If in your county they have not yet just wait maybe they are still in the gym.
The main reason for the fights is always for the quest of impeaching the county assembly speaker. The recent incident happened in Machakos, the same reasons of impeachment being the cause of the breaking of tables and turning of chairs.
It is such a shame. The famous word right now in Kenya “kirimino” where could we have found it if not because of the MCAs’ fights?
Nairobi, Nyandarua, Homabay, Kisumu, Kakamega …name them , war is the order of MCAs. They become so petty until they even steal the mase.
Is it really a house of representation or its a house of violence?

Raila last week warned the MCAs back in his Nyanza back yard to decease from engaging in war, but they seem not to learn.
Baba speaking during the burial of Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka fathers burial has elaborated the cause of the violence. The MCAs are always fighting because the county has refused to award them extra cash to buy posh cars. The MCAs have decided to settle it on fighting since they were denied of their various trips outside the country.
The MCAs are believed to be fighting according to Raila because they want their word to be final, questioning or debate attracts a hefty blow.
The MCAs have just to learn how to handle their issues as they taint negatively the prospects of devolution in the country.
