Man City boss Pep Guardiola didn’t read the dress code for the FWA awards night. Guardiola was honoured for leading Manchester City to a stunning Premier League title win last season, in which they claimed a record 100 points.

City also scored more than a century of goals as they romped home. The Spaniard is well-known for his sartorial elegance on the touchline, with Guardiola among the best-dressed managers in England.

But he obviously didn’t get the memo for the FWA awards last night.

“Everyone is so elegant with a suit and tie and I came here with… I am a little bit embarrassed, I’m a disaster” Man City manager Pep Guardiola
