Man arraigned in court for stealing employer’s underwears

Well this happens to be one of the bizzare stories ever.

Apparently one house help has been arrested and is to be arraigned in court for stealing his employers panties.Like who does that?

 

Juma Khamis Badi, was arraigned at Milimani Law Court  to answer charges of stealing his employer’s panties, he was accused of committing the offense on unknown dates in the month of May at Hill view estate in Lower Kabete area within Nairobi County.

According to his employer, Daula Mohamed Omar, Badi took his wife’s panties among other valuables with the intention of reselling them.

   

Besides the panties, Omar accused Juma of breaking into his safe and making away with imported designer silverware.

They included assorted jewellery, two wrist watches, a belt, a selfie stick and a bowling cup trophy, all valued at Sh3 million.

Juma, who was not represented in court by a lawyer, pleaded not guilty to the charges. The investigating officer, who is attached to Gigiri police station, swore an affidavit pleading with the court to deny Juma bail.

The officer said the accused person was a flight risk, since he had disobeyed several police summons over the matter and had to be hunted down.

The Milimani chief magistrate ordered that the hearing of the matter and direction on the affidavit be heard by the trial court.
