Have Kenyans come of age of are they still following their parties blindly as gas always been the case? Shock caught up with the ODM party!
On Monday, one of Kenya’s most popular parties Orange Democratic Movement was on fire after top officials led by chairman John Mbadi vowed to boycott the Deputy President’s Nyanza tour for failure to be consulted.
According to Mbadi, the party would keep off the tour which has been described as a development one since there was no communication from the visiting William Ruto and his office and that it would undermine the handshake deal between regions kingpin Raila Odinga and president Uhuru Kenyatta.
ODM has instructed its MPs and MCAs not to attend the event in Migori where governor Obado is hosting DP Ruto.

However, Kenyans Online came out guns blazing and castigated the move terning it as serious dictatorial tendencies that would take us back to the past and vowed not to engaged in witch hunt. Save for a few who supported the move, majority of the tweeps admonished the legislator for the statement and urged him to embrace national unity as has been the call by his party boss and the president.
Even if they attend or not dp ruto is marketing himself for his own purpose with development.what do this ps n mcas sell if not corruption

Two things:
I thought the handshake was to unite ALL Kenyans of whom Ruto is one of themIsn’t this the definition of “backwardness, pettiness….”
Before we can talk of “liberating” Kenya, Luo Nyanza is in serious need of liberation.

They are literally sick. No wonder they are impoverishing the people of Nyanza. You boycott and you bring nothing instead. So long as the governor is there, they can go to keep off.

The deputy president is in Migori for his development trails and was hosted by Migori governor Okoth Obado who has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The two leaders first attended service At Maranatha Faith Assemblies in Suna West.
Ruto and Obado later Commissioned the Masara – Suna- Kehancha and Awendo- Mariwa – Oyani roads, Nyabisawa, Migori County, totalling 67.5 kilometres.
Will ODM’s move to bar members from attending work in its favour?
