After Bobi Wine’s fame in Ugandan politics that introduced him to many of us aren’t we all curious to judge his music competency? Before he was elected to parliament as the Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi, known to many as Bobi Wine was a very popular musician who would command masses with his music and lifestyle.

Well, his fans missed him a lot and pressured him to hold a concert following his recent multiplied popularity and being a good leader, Bobi listened to his people and duly granted them what they wished for by promising to hit the stage to rock his fans at a concert dubbed Kyarenga Concert organised by himself.

Unfortunately the concert didn’t come easy as he has had to fight numerous oppositions several times that cancelled his performance.

Through his social media pages, the troubled legislator expressed his disappointments and condemned the Ugandan government to oppressing innocent people.

”How can the regime be very scared of Ugandans meeting for a music show, simply because it is hosted by Bobi Wine?! I also know that they are doing everything possible to block all my businesses and other sources of income.” Bobi posted.

The musician come MP disclosed that the Ugandan Police has been sabotaging his concert by giving out numerous reasons as to why it should not be held.

This followed numerous attempts to have the concert staged at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole all in vain.

Police had again called off the concert early this month arguing that the organizers had not been cleared by the Namboole management while the second attempt received a red flag from FUFA, the football governing body in the country citing delicacy of the pitch ahead of the AFCON qualifier game against Cape Verde slated for November 17, 2018.

“Guess what?! Today we received this letter cancelling the show once again. Reason? They claim that they have received a complaint from FUFA about hosting our concert! Please note that the same stadium has so many other events scheduled and none has been canceled except our concert!” Wine posted.

The other attempt was again blocked by the Namboole management arguing that the said venue was already booked for a wedding reception though unconfirmed reports later indicated that the said wedding never existed.
