We are Being Treated to Side Shows as Jowie’s fate Might Already be Pre-Meditated

The Monica Kimani murder case might finally be taking shape with the prosecution seemingly having very watertight evidence against the accused persons.

The new judge that took over the case has presented himself as a no-nonsense judge. He has in fact said that he was an old school judge who get’s upset if he is influenced before a case.

His first war of words was against the Media. He barred the media from reporting on the trial citing sub judice. He said he would be upset if the media continues influencing the thinking on the case yet it is still in court.

This led to an online backlash from Kenyans who viewed him as being too strict. Some even argued that the judge looked like someone who had a score to settle with the accused persons.

The judge was at it again today, describing the first accused Jowie, as a male version of a slay queen. He referred to him as a woman eater.

“The first accused is a male version of a slay queen. I would describe him as a woman eater…” said Judge Wakiaga.

The statement by the judge has set the internet on fire with Kenyans on twitter asking him to step aside as he looks like someone already delivering judgment to an accused person even before hearing commences.

“Honestly that was harsh…I mean, we already know that. He is a Judicial officer and as such he ought to operate from a neutral position. Such a statement could be interpreted to mean that the Jurist is prejudiced against the accused,” said one Kenyan on twitter

The judge basically branded Jowie a murderer even before hearing the case and going through presented evidence.

If that’s the case, is there any need for a hearing date of the case to even be set? Will Jowie get a fair hearing in this case?

Jowie must be a worried man even as he heads back to remand. He will stay there until the  trial commences.

Justice Wakiaga denied Jowie bail adding that his love for guns could create fear and intimidation among the witnesses.

If released, the court ruled, there is a likelihood that he would interfere with the crime scene.

In denying Jowie bail, the court futher ruled that he has extensively traveled to Middle East with no known assets in the country and his willingness to surrender the passport is no guarantee that he will not jump bail or abscond court.

Jowie is facing charges relating to the gruesome murder of business woman Monica Kimani. He has denied the charges and will now have to wait until the hearing of the case commences for him to prove his innocence.
