Just when we though Joe Irungu had been abandoned by his so called buddies today during his bail hearing at the Milimani was quite different.

One reknown personel in the media industry Joe Muchiri of Capital FM showed up in court to show support to his longtime friend Jowie.

The two have been friends for a while now and have always been spotted clubbing together in joints around town.

The two were frequent attendees of the famous restaurant Jiweke Tavern and even created a WhatsApp group for those who frequent the place.

Many have questioned why none of Jowie’s friends have made the effort to attend court hearings, considering they were always together partying.

But as unfortunate as it may have been Jowie was denied bail by High court Judge Justice Wakianga who on the other hand granted Citizen TV journalist and Jowie’s fiance Jacque Maribe a cash bail of 1 Million shillings.

Quite contrary to Jowie’s situation, Jacque’s friends have been making appearances in court to offer her moral support.
Earlier during the trials there were speciulations that Jacque’s friends had abandoned her to rot in prison alone.
