Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino has joined Kenyans and political leaders in wishing President Uhuru Kenyatta a happy birthday but in a very unique way.
Babu wished Uhuru a long life hoping that he live’s long enough to see an Ogiek become the President of Kenya.
The Ogiek are a small tribe in Kenya full of hunters and gatherers. They have traditionally hunted such animals as antelope and wild pigs, which is now generally illegal.
“I would like to wish my belly ally and a bosom friend H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta a happy birthday.May you live long to see an ogiek become the president of Kenya,” read Babu’s message.

Uhuru Kenyatta is today celebrating his birthday. It remains to be seen whether the head of state will hold a mega bash at Statehouse or at another disclosed location.
During his 56th birthday last year, It so happened that the repeat election took place on the President’s birthday. He went on to win the repeat elections hence summing up a good year for him.
The court had nullified Uhuru’s victory over NASA chief Raila Odinga on September 1 and ordered a fresh vote within 60 days.
The President might be focused on leaving a legacy by finally delivering on his Big Four Agenda but that surely hasn’t stopped Kenyans from wishing him a Happy Birthday.
