“Kurukwa nayo,” CNN ‘Richard Quest cancels his live recording in Nairobi.

This is a disappointment.

Have you ever waited for something that much, i mean you are even craving for it until last minute then the person calls it off?

Don’t even spell out the feeling, i know i won’t carry the weight of it.

That is exactly what Richard Quest of CNN has done to Kenya. After visiting the country for the first time to cover the launching of KQ direct flights to New York  he has called off the show.

Does this means Kenya doesn’t matter?

Maybe he choose Kenya to be a perfect place to break open about his status of being a gay.  Richard Quest praised Nairobi;

“The flowerbeds and neatly trimmed trees, the new roads, the signs, the general respect for other road users. There is something both gentle and genteel about it.

We spent the afternoon in Karura Forest. If you wanted something to underscore this sense of pride you would be hard pushed to find a more pristine example. Here is a park that rivals New York’s Central Park, London’s Hyde Park, or Sydney’s botanic gardens.

Of course I discovered Karura’s remarkable history, learned about its sometimes checkered, shady past, the land grabbers, and the ultimately successful campaign to save it for the people.”

Everybody was convinced that Nairobi was going live on CNN until he disappoints again.

This means the launching was among the greatest achievements in business will not be aired on CNN.

The coverage was projected to sale Kenya Airways to the world and even increase the travels. The coverage was a milestone to Kenya has also could have raised and improved the tourism sector in the country.

What do you think CNN cancelling the live recording in Nairobi means?
