Real Madrid to sign Zlatan to save their season

Struggling Real Madrid are reported to be lining up a deal to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic in January.

Madrid, who went down 2-1 at home to Levante during the last weekend action have struggled in front of goal and reports in Spain alludes that the capital club wants the giant Swede to solve their goalscoring problems.

Zlatan is not new to La Liga as he played for Barcelona and left in 2010 after clashing with Pep Guardiola then. Spanish journalist Manolo Lama has told the Tiempo De Juego that Madrid is seriously considering bringing the LA Galaxy forward to Santiago Bernabeu.

“Madrid wants a forward and is studying the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the winter market,” Lama said.

Zlatan has scored 22 goals in 26 games for the MLS side since joining in March from Manchester United. Madrid has been missing a talismanic figure since Christiano Ronaldo left for Juventus in the summer.

“Zlatan wanted to play for Real Madrid when he left Barcelona,” Mino Raiola, Zlatan’s agent said eight years ago when the forward left Barca.
