Blogger Robert Alai has taken issue with Standard Groups’s decision to host Pastor Gilbert Deya on Radio Maisha’s morning show #MaishaAsubuhi.
Miracle baby preacher Gilbert Deya was back in May released on Sh10 million cash bail or Sh10 million bond by High Court judge Luka Kimaru. This was after the preacher was deported from the UK to face child theft charges.
Deya was charged with five counts of stealing five children, all aged under 14 years, between 2002 and 2004, at Mountain View Estate, Nairobi.
In January, the High Court quashed the Sh1 million bond Deya had been granted after the DPP sought orders to cancel the release term.
Blogger Alai feels that Deya should not be accorded airtime on local media stations due to the grave allegations that have been previously leveled against him.

Bishop Deya was hosted by Radio Maisha Presenters Billy and Mbaruk alongside MCA Tricky who was making his debut on the show as a host too.
Many tweeps supported Alai’s bashing of KTN and Bishop Deya with many saying it was unethical to have the Bishop on Radio Maisha. Some were even surprised that the Bishop is now a free man.
