On Saturday October 20, 2018 ODM Party leader Raila Odinga posted on social media a message that urged Kenyans to remember Kenyan women in their celebrations during Mashujaa Day.
In a message that was written in both English and Kiswahili, Raila said Kenyans were to use this opportunity to reflect on the heroic efforts Kenyan Women have made towards the betterment of our beloved nation.
He further urged Kenyans to all strive together united with the singular aim of making Kenya a better place for all.

However, the top photos that Raila posted on his twitter account was that of the top most ODM Party woman fan, who has been always seen in ODM Party rallies all over the Country.
The picture of the woman commonly known as mama chungwa dominated other photos that accompanied Odinga’s message on the power of women to fight for the betterment of the country.
