Raila could have been a Sunday school teacher if he had not ventured into politics.

Speaking during the Mashujaa Celebration that were held in Kakamega, the Deputy President said on a light note that Raila could have served well as a Sunday School teacher.

This sentiments come after Raila explaining to his followers the “Canaan” idea he had promised to take them too. Raila said that the crocodiles blocked their path when they were about to cross river Jordan.

Mr. William Ruto capitalized on that to tell Mr. Raila Odinga that in the Holy Bible he has never had of crocodiles that blocked the paths of the Israelite. He said could have been a good teacher explaining to Sunday school kids different biblical ideas.

The two were bought together by the handshake which reduced their political rivalry. The two in the past few months could not stand in the same political arena because of their different political beliefs.

This comes as Raila announced to the nation of his new appoint to the African Union as the Infrastructure Development for Africa. This position will enable Raila to oversee different development agendas in the African Countries and also put Kenya in the positive light in the world.

The President also congratulated Raila Odinga for his new role saying those are the fruits of the handshake. The President encouraged other leaders to emulate the actions of Mr. Odinga and join in the process of nation building.The President also issued a stern warning to politicians who are spreading divisive politics in the country.
