Two lucky Kenyans awarded tickets to Inaugural Kenya-New-York direct flight

Two young innovators are among the 468 passengers who will fly to New York during the historic Kenya Airways inaugural direct flight to the US on October 28.

Shirlene Nafula and Evans Wadongo, both 26, were handed their return tickets at State House by spokesperson Kanze Dena and Kenya Airways Head of Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Events Jacquie Muhati.

“Youth are an important segment for this country and we can not ignore the fact that having an airline will give them the opportunity to travel go out there, explore, meet counterparts, hopefully, gather some ideas and skills and transform the economy,” Kanze said.
