Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has come out together with other politicians to the rescue of a woman who is set to sell her family mansion to pay her late husband’s hospital bill.
This was after her son Brian Yusuf posted on his twitter account with photos of the four bedroom mansion in Athi River asking his followers to retweet for it to reach potential buyers.
In his tweet he said
“Hey guys. My mum is selling her house in Athi River to pay my late dad’s hospital bills. 4 bedrooms, master ensuite + 2 bathrooms, at Transview Estate opposite Crystal Rivers Mall. Offers invited. DM for details. RT for awareness. #houseforsale #RealEstate,” said Brian Yusuf.

Kabogo was one of the big wigs who came across the tweet then called on his followers to contribute Sh30 each to the family’s PayBill number.
Imagine only 30 bob from @ of my followers and he’s sorted. That’s the harambee Mzee Jomo Kenyatta meant.

He further tweeted encouraging the young man to open a paybill account where wellwishers would contribute to.

“I am so sorry. First let me offer my condolences. Stay strong. Kindly check your DM and let’s see what can be done. You must never lose hope. #GodIsInControl #InGodWeMustTrust,” wrote Passaris.

Kenyans online also came forward to offer their support to Bryan. Here are some reactions
Prayers won’t help Bryan.
Wishing you were rich and could help pay the bills won’t help.
Wishing there was a way it could be done without selling the house won’t help.RT for awareness WILL help.
Finding a buyer WILL help.
Buying the house WILL help.
