LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has ruled out a possible return to Manchester United after reports linked him with a move back to Old Trafford.
Reports from England indicated that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is considering a move for the Swedish striker when his short-term contract with LA Galaxy expires.
Zlatan was also linked with a move to his former club AC Milan after his impressive first season at Major Soccer League with LA Galaxy, scoring 21 goals so far this season.
In an interview with Sky Sports Ibrahimovic revealed that a move to United is not on his mind right now.
“It’s not what I have been thinking about because we still have two games, hopefully, we make the playoffs. Any more on that I don’t know what to say because I haven’t focused on that, I haven’t put any thought on it.”
The 37-year-old also added that he needs to manage his body well, “I think I’m in a situation where I need to have a good balance between work and rest. Because I came back from injury and because of my age and the load I’m putting in during training.”
