Double Victory for Harambee starlets striker after signing new deal

 

It is a double celebration for Harambee Starlets striker, Esse Akida who signed a lucrative two-year deal with Israel club Hapoel Morasha Ramat HaSharon earlier yesterday. Akida is today graduating with a B.A in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship) although she has missed out on the graduation ceremony, she revealed on her twitter page that she is equally excited for the same.

“Apart from signing a professional deal on Thursday, I was to graduate today with a B.A in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship) but the deal meant that I miss the graduation today with . Couldn’t have asked for more from God this year. Congrats to all Graduants.” reads tweet

The signing of the contract was done on Thursday afternoon after her attendance to trials in Israel for the last 10 days.

The former Thika Queens striker says that joining Hapoel Morasha Ramat HaSharon is a dream come true, and she has promised to work hard to improve her football career.

“I am very delighted. Joining this club is a dream come true for me and I can’t wait to get started. I know it won’t be easy and I am ready for the challenge, but I believe that I will make a good name for myself if I work hard,” Akida said.

 

Akida has been flooded by congratulatory messages from her fans and friends on her new deal and she has received equal praise for her academic excellence.
