A couple weeks ago, Bobi Wine was receiving all the praise and hype from his Kenyan followers yet now he has become a point of debate. The Ugandan MP is currently in Kenya for a 5 day visit and has been spotted on different events organized by Kenyan youth leaders. He has also had interviews done in the local TV stations.
Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, unafraid of fighting for justice, for his country and what he believes is best for the Ugandan people. He came into the limelight following his arrest and detention months ago which sparked a lot of reaction from different parts of the world. Bobi Wine is a man of influence and many have applauded him for his continuous efforts to bring change in his country.
Bobi Wine is also one of the main critics of the Ugandan Government and although some have titled him as a young rebel, the youth brand him as an agent of change, the face of the Ugandan people.
His Kenyan supporters and admirers have today been criticized by Miguna Miguna for being cowards by pretending to be fighting Museveni yet they are doing nothing about their country.
Those pretending to support
@HEBobiwine in Kenya are cowards. The best way to fight for freedom is to confront tyrants in your own country. DIRECTLY CONFRONT @UKenyatta regarding his egregious violations of human rights in Kenya. Stop pretending to be fighting Museveni in Kenya. reads Miguna’s tweet
This statement has ignited a heated debate online as a section of Kenyans question on why Bobi Wine is in the country walking around with Kenyan MPs yet his people in the country are going through suffering.
Others backed up Miguna Miguna’s statement as the shamed Kenyans for the same criticism that Miguna Miguna stated.
this is the truth, and yu have been the example they should follow. u never fought injustice in Kenya when u are far away but u used to come and fight injustice here in Kenya. let them go to UG and face M7 with no fear, not being afraid of him bt lyig us that they are heros..

I second your opinion, General. I was wondering to see @Babu_Owino following @HEBobiwine everywea as if he’s so loyal to us Kenyans, what has babu done to us to know him, has he done anything to #Resist the old men pretending to be fighting for Kenyans, like Raila. #

Exactly General. Actually what is Bobi Wine doing in Kenya while his fellow citizens are suffering. instead of leading a revolution in his own country, he’s in Kenya walking around with Mps.
