This is a great start. Our sporting facilities are wanting. Basic considerations such as clean public convenience, stands and shades, good surface for play, changing rooms etcetera. Sports approached well is not only a big employer but also a great attraction as sports tourism

Actually I do agree with this. It can be a good and big employer and encourage a good sporting tourism around the country, region and continent or even world.look at Europe, USA and Asia as well. It can be a good one once well organized and established

Let’s wait and see how this goes eventually. A good start go release the funds for rehabilitation but the success of the whole thing is what am waiting to see. Hope it all goes well

This is very good. I hope Kilifi County will borrow a leaf from Nairobi County

This comes days after Kenyan sports enthusiast took to social media to shame the leaders in the sports ministry with the claim of negligence and lack of concern to sport related activities. Kenyans were bothered by the fact that during the 2018 Russia World cup, MP’s were alleged to have used taxpayers money in the name of benchmarking for a trip to Russia. The state of the stadiums in the nation had been questioned earlier and Kenyans said that it was not up to their expectations considering the promises which had been made during the campaign period. With this move, Kenyans hope that other counties will embark on the same.
