In this new song Ali Kiba collaborates with with other upcoming musicians. H e remarks that after being in the musical game for over 15 years it is time for him to give back and nurture upcoming talents.
The new song introduces young talented musicians , Cheedy, Killy, K2ga an Abdukiba from his own record label , ” king’s label.”
The new song comes after Ali Kiba received numerous critics from his followers and Tanzanians who think that he is dying musically.
The new release comes after a long wait from his fans considering his last release ,” mvumo wa radi,” which gained more than 1 million views in less than 24 hours.
The self proclaimed king of Bongo Flava who also owns his own fizzy drink brand known as ” mofaya.”
Alikiba who has the same musical age with Diamond platinumz , has been a lagging behind on releasing of new projects . Compared to Diamond Platinumz , who is the founder of Wasafi records which is the leading musical record in Tanzania has been releasing music to his fans more often.
Although Diamond has for the longest time had issues with relationship ; breaking up with Zari Hassan and siring a baby with the Tanzanian Socialite Hamissa Mobetto is doing so much better in the musical industry. He has done a number of collabos both local and international ones. He has also received numerous recognition’s in the international music platform.
Alikiba few months ago had a lavish wedding in Mombasa which Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho was in attendance last month performed in Canada in One Africa Musical concert, in an interview he said he is in to making good music, not in a rush to drop just for the sake of it.
Tanzanians would react to the song considering his that Diamond also released a collabo with Navy Kenzo which is a hit right now in most East African countries. Alikiba is expecting to bring the same ripple effect as he starts media tours with the new talents.
In the song he featured his brother Abdukiba who currently is doing well in terms of music. His brother also wedded her girlfriend the same week his elder brother did his wedding.
Ommy Dimpoz is the only one who missed a spot in the song considering his health status where he is still recovering after a long stay in South Africa where he was receiving treatment.
This release which is under rock star production will pave way for Cheed, K2ga and Killy to start doing good music . The journey is expected to be tough since Bongo flavor is full of young talents including Mbosso who is signed under Wasafi records and he is doing so much better.
