Jose Mourinho facing sack if Man United lose to Newcastle: REPORTS

Reports in the British press suggest that Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho could be sacked if his team lose to Newcastle United in their game.

The mood at Manchester United appears toxic after numerous spats between Mourinho and his players so far this season, while the results have also taken a turn for the worse.

Tuesday night’s goalless draw against Valencia made it four games without a win for United, who were hammered 3-1 by Westham United  in their last Premier League game just days after being knocked out of the League Cup by Derby County.

Reports are saying that Mourinho has “lost the dressing room” and suggests that patience among the club’s hierarchy with the manager is “waning”.

With United down in 10th in the Premier League table and already nine points behind rivals Manchester City and Liverpool and it is suggested that the upcoming international window could be seen by the club as the ideal time to appoint a new coach.

Mourinho’s position at United does appear to be close to untenable.
