Singer Otile brown is no doubt one of the greatest Kenyan Artist given his consistency and good musical writing skills. The Mombasa born singer has in the recent past given us great hits such as chaguo la moyo featuring songstress Sanaipei Tande, Aje Anione, Mapenzi Hisia among others. Most of his songs have made him a darling to many especially the ladies who not only love his vocals but also fall for his looks.
In his bid to break into the international market, the singer has also in the recent past collaborated with the likes of Shetta and Barakah da Prince both from Tanzania. His recent collaboration is titled ‘Nikupe Nini’ and here he featured Bongo Star Aslay. The song hit over 30,000 views on Youtube before the Alivyonipenda hitmaker deleted it from his Youtube channel.
It however remains unclear why this had to happen given that the song had already got a positive reception among his fans. It is also worth noting that Aslay has not posted anything about the song nor shared the video link on his social media pages. Could this be the reason Otile brown decided to delete the video? Could it be that he felt the Bongo star is not giving the jam the required support or could it be that they didn’t agree on how to share the royalties?
Kenyan Gospel Singer Bahati once had an issue with Aslay after they dropped a collabo titled ‘Bora Nife’ but felt the Bongo Star was out to extort him. He claimed they had not agreed on a number of issues including how they were to share the royalties got from the song. Aslay went ahead and uploaded the song on his youtube channel and it garnered over 2 million views.
This is not the first time Otile Brown has had a video blocked or have it deleted from his Youtube channel that has got close to 100,000 subscribers and over 10 million views. The singers song Chaguo la Moyo was temporarily blocked from Youtube after a lady laid claim to it. This however did not stop the song from being a mega hit and garnering over 7 million youtube views.
Fans therefore hope that the Pakate hit maker will re-upload the Song on his Youtube Channel as many have already considered it a Mega Hit.
