Wetang’ula tells off Raila over Handshake deal

Bungoma County Senator Moses Wetang’ula has told off former Prime minister Raila Odinga following his claims on the handshake deal between him and president Uhuru Kenyatta.

Wetang’ula posted on his twitter account saying that repeatedly telling a lie does not make it the truth.

The Bungoma senator told off Odinga who on Monday said that the March 29 handshake between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta was not a secret citing that he reached out to his co-principals via phone.

Wetang’ula related Raila to Adolf Hitler’s propagandist, Gen Josef Goebbels, who believed that a lie repeatedly told mutates into truth.

He said that Raila is espousing, rather poorly, the same discredited philosophy about the handshake that has left a rotten agg on his face.

Wetang’ula further urged Raila not to let his memory fail him and try to recall what he told them while at Stonny Athi meeting about the handshake.
