In the briefing Kenyans saw a rat hunting process that they never new existed. The residents claimed they trap the rats knowing their weakness as they destroy their shambas looking for certain plants. The trap holds a burnt coconut which then produces a smelling oil that the rodent is attracted to. After its caught on a successful day its then roasted.
The Mijikenda youths boasted in the trend with some saying it made them unique people who minded their own lives and didn’t care what others thought of their delighted rare lifestyle. According to them they are real to who they are.
The briefing however did not reveal any negative repercussions of treating oneself to the meal therefore it seemed healthy and okay for anyone interested.
