Five out as Arsenal travel to Qarabag

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has picked a strong travelling squad for the away clash to Azerbaijan against Qarabag on Thursday night.

Despite Emery naming a strong squad, he will be without services of four of his stars. Petr Cech, Emile Smith Rowe, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Dinos Mavropanos and Laurent Koscielny were all left out as the Gunners’ squad was spotted leaving London.

Earlier in the week, it was confirmed that Cech will be on the sidelines for up to four weeks after suffering a hamstring injury during his side’s victory over Watford.

Updates from the club

Emile Smith Rowe
Now available for selection following right hip issue during Brentford match last Wednesday.

Petr Cech

Ainsley Maitland-Niles
