Terryanne Chebet has today broken the silence and gave clarification that the DCI has not summoned her or called her. This comes a day after online rumors that suggested that three of Maribe’s friends are expected to record a statement today. KOT had already started giving the names of the friends who are believed to be close friends to Maribe and Irungu.
Three journalists among them Fanaka Tv CEO Terryanne Chebet, Hot 96 Presenter Shix Kapyenga and Citizen Tv’s News Director Monica Kiragu will tomorrow record statements at the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Hqs in connection with Monica Kimani’s gruesome murder.

Maribe’s friends had earlier been faulted and told that they were fake for remaining silent since Maribe’s fiancee Joseph Irungu was arrested. A Kenyan on twitter also stated that the friends had not appeared for the court session….” absence of them in court tells all about our friends”
