Kenyans on twitter have strongly opposed Former NACADA Chairman John Mututho after he urged president Uhuru Kenyatta to reject any bill seeking to legalize the use of cannabis sativa should it land in his office.
Mr. Mututho had earlier give his reason to why he is against Marijuana Legalization “Marijuana is a dangerous substance and should not be legalized.” He said
“These are dangerous substances. I get surprised when an honourable member of Parliament comes and starts to gain popularity by advocating for an illegality to make it legal, just as they did with portable spirits standards. Let’s have logic. Why do we have to legalise something that affects the functionality of the brain?” said Mututho.
Kenyans have however shown a sense of disagreement and think that there is a need for its legalization.

Balderdash! It’s illegal now but it’s use is rampant. It makes more sense to legalize it, regulate it, tax it and research on it’s medicinal benefits.
