As reported on K24, Maribe was today questioned for about 6 hours and later on the investigators went to her home for further investigations which will help in Monica Kimani’s murder case
Investigators also wants to find out how Maribe was living with a suspect who is alleged to have an unlicensed gun and what she knows about the incident.
Earlier yeterday, Maribe was summoned by detectives at Kilimani Police Station but was later taken to the DCI headquarters on Kiambu Road. She was in the company of two family members and her lawyer Katwa Kigen.
Detectives are interested in getting more information from her on the shooting her boyfriend Joseph Irungu alias Jowie which allegedly occurred near their house in Lang’ata a day after the woman was killed.
Joseph Irungu was arraigned in court on Wednesday but did not plead to the charged after police were granted 10 days to finalise the probe.
