Arsenal are set to lose Aaron Ramsey for free at the end of the season, according to reports. Contract talks with the Wales midfielder are said to have completely broken down.
Ramsey, 27, is ready to commit his future to the club after months of negotiations.But the Daily Mirror claim he has no new offer on the table after a dramatic U-turn from the Gunners.Chelsea and Manchester United are both keeping tabs on the situation, while Juventus and Lazio are also keen on signing the ex-Cardiff ace.
Arsenal are said to have rejected a £50million offer for Ramsey in the summer.
Gunners boss Unai Emery in August told Ramsey to focus on his football amid ongoing contract talks with the club.
He also confirmed the midfielder had spoken to him about his position in the manager’s plans.Ramsey has since adopted a new role in the team under his manager’s orders and featured in all six of Arsenal’s Premier League games.
The embarrassing situation is similar to that of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez’s, where the Gunners allowed their contracts to run down to the wire last season.
