The relationship between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba has been quite frosty in the last eighteen months. They haven’t looked eye to eye with each other since the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Despite this Pogba accepted Manchester United’s decision to not sell him in the recently concluded transfer window.
The recent fight between the two after the game against Wolves this weekend has certainly made their relationship irreparable. With Mourinho stripping Paul Pogba from the position of vice-captain of the team, it is highly likely that Manchester United will sell their star midfielder in January.
With three years still remaining in Pogba’s contract at Old Trafford, the Manchester United hierarchy are certainly not going to let him go easily. They will probably demand more than £200m according to reports.
Barcelona
Barcelona are reportedly firm favorites to land the French midfielder in January. They have been constantly monitoring him and were quite interested to sign the player in the summer transfer window. Despite failing to sign him in the summer, Barcelona sent a scout to watch him in Manchester United first game in the Champions League group stage. It was also widely reported that Barcelona had agreed on personal terms with Paul Pogba.
With the departure of club legend Andreas Iniesta, Barcelona are looking for a talented midfielder to replace him. They Catalans have identified Paul Pogba as his perfect replacement who will also add firepower to their already strong midfield. This recent bust-up between Mourinho and Pogba has certainly alerted the Nou Camp.
Juventus
Pogba will surely like a homecoming at Juventus where he developed into a world-class midfielder. Having made 128 appearances and scored 28 goals for them in 4 years at the club, Pogba will have no problem in again settling back there due to the familiarity with the conditions and many Juventus players.

With the huge resources at their disposal, it is highly possible for them to tempt Paul Pogba with better personal terms and conditions than the other elite clubs in Europe looking to obtain his signature.
