Jacque Maribe has finally surfaced at Kilimani Police Station Dressed like a suspect. Pictures posted online showed the journalist dressed in jeans, a hoodie and cap. Her face was completely hidden from.
Maribe has been in the headlines since the arrest of her fiancee Joe Irungu, over the murder of Monica Kimani last week.
Irungu has been charged with the murder of the 28 year old woman, who was found dead in her apartment along Denis Pritt road in Kilimani. Her throat had been slit.
Detectives said they wanted Maribe to shed light on the events that happened on the night of the murder.
Police had however said that the journalist could not be reached since she was not responding picking her phone. She had also not reported to work since Tuesday.
“She is not responding to our calls but we have left a message for her, requiring her to come for further clarification. Even her lawyer says she is not responding to calls,” said an officer.
But the journalist has now availed herself for questioning.
