Ndindi Nyoro: Obado’s Case will die down

Kiharu member of parliament is now claiming that the case following Migori Governor Okoth Obado will die down.

Ndindi who was judging from the past said that Kenya’s Justice is always up for sale to the highest bidder.

The legislator who was speaking during a televised interview on Kenya’s Citizen Tv notes that the country might have the best people at the Directorate of Criminal Investigation  and DPP but the officers doing the investigations haven’t changed.

His sentiments comes amid pressure from Kenyans to have Obado either resign or get impeached.

The Migori Governor is facing murder charges following the gruesome murder of the pregnant Rongo University Student Sharon Otieno whose body was recovered in Kodera forest early September.

Details emerged that Sharon was Obado’s girlfriend and DNA tests that were carried out proved that the baby she was carrying was Obado’s.

This transpired his arrest on Friday Last week and since then Obado has been arraigned in court twice where he denied charges.

The application by his defense to have him released on bail was rejected by Milimani Law Court’s Justice Jessie Lessit on Tuesday who ordered for Obado’s more two days detention before the ruling into his application is made on Thursday 27th September.
