Lawyer Dr Miguna Miguna has fired back at high court decision to deny Okoth obado bail in the ongoing case where he is accused of being involved in Sharon’s murder.

Judge Jessie Lessit said  she will hear his bond application afresh alongside the of co-accused Michael Oyamo and Caspal Obiero on the 8th of october.

The three are facing charges in the murder case of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno.

Miguna however disagrees saying having money abroad is not a solid reason to keep obadpo behind bars .

Judge Jessie Lessit disallowed the application for bail until witness statements and other bits of evidence were provided to all parties in the case on October 8.

Reading the ruling, Judge Lessit explained that the only way the court can ensure the case is not interfered with is by having the accused in police custody. Obado who is facing murder charges following the gruesome killing of pregnant Rongo University student was remanded on Tuesday for two nights at the Industrial Area GK Prisons following an order by Lady Justice Jessie Lessit. Obado is charged with the murder of Rongo University medical statistics diploma student Sharon Otieno.
