There is no reprieve for Migori Governor Okoth Obado as the High Court postponed the ruling on his bail application for 10 more days to 8th October, 2018.
In her ruling, Justice Lessit noted that the court could not determine his bail application before all the witness statements are in court.
The new latest development, means that the governor would have spend 12 days at Industrial Area Police Station by the time the ruling is made.
And Obado will have a familiar friend while in remand, as justice Jessie Lessit also send his Personal Assistant, Caspal Obiero to the same remand. Both will have their applications heard on the same day.
The news attracted a lot of views from Kenyans on social media..
Justice Jessie Lessit is a no nonsense woman. Her record on how she handles murder and rape suspects speaks for itself. Migori Governor Okoth Obado should start jogging his mind and body for Kodiaga or Shimo la Tewa Maximum Prison.

Resignation now likely..
Migori Governor Okoth Obado should resign before he reaches that prison. No way Migori people should be governor who's immoral and corrupt. After that, he should be jailed for life.

Shocked!
Justice Jessie Lessit has denied Gov. Okoth Obado bail until 8th October. You should see the shock in Cliff Ombetta's face.
