Arsenal boss refutes standing in between Ozil-Low

Arsenal manager Unai Emery denies claims that he blocked Mesut Ozil from seeing German national team coach, Joachim Low in a practice session this week.

Reports emanating from Germany indicated that Low took sometime after attending the FIFA Best football awards in London to visit Ozil but he was barred from accessing the training ground with Emery being the reason behind it.

It is reported that Low wanted to build bridges with the midfielder after he retired from the national team following criticism that he posed for a photo with the Turkish president.

Emery refuted the claim while speaking to Sky Sports, “It’s not true that I didn’t let Mesut meet with Low. I had no problem in our situation in the training ground. It’s not true.” Ozil’s saga with the German FA is set to go on, as Low claims the 29-year-old has repeatedly ignored his messages and requests to meet.
