Finally! Kaizer Chiefs reveal when they will pay Gor Mahia

Kaizer Chiefs have assured that the Kenyan Premier League champions Gor will receive the transfer fee for Godfrey Walusimbi transfer soon.

The Premier Soccer League side signed the Uganda Cranes defender Gor Mahia on 30 August but four weeks later the Kenyan giants are still complaining of not having received the transfer fee.

Kaizer football manager Bobby Motaung insists that they are not playing games on Gor Mahia FC and send the money after reversal and the payment was approved and has urged Gor Mahia to be patient since its an international transfer.

“This is not a scam. It’s an international transfer. There are regulations that we needed to follow from the Reserve Bank. The payment was done and the approval was made on Friday. They should be getting their money soon.” Motaung told Kick Off.

Walusimbi signed at three year deal with the South African side after quitting Gor Mahia. His debut was against Supersport United in the MTN8 semi-finals on September 1 where Kaizer lost by a solitary goal.

The 29-year-old made his PSL debut at Goble Park Stadium as Kaizer visited Free State Stars. His second appearance saw him clock 90 minutes in their 2-0 win over Amazulu.
