Bandari FC Technical Director Twahir Muhiddin is confident of victory when they host Sofapaka FC on Wednesday at the Mbaraki Stadium in Mombasa.

Bandari is the Kenyan Premier League’s most in-form, winning all but two of their last 10 matches and remain undefeated in their previous 14, but Sofapaka have also gained some momentum toward the homestretch.

The visitors will be boosted by their 1-0 Cup victory over AFC Leopards on Sunday but Muhiddin has warned only defeat awaits them in Mombasa as Bandari look to seal the KPL second spot.

“Sofapaka should be well prepared. Mbaraki is a slaughter house and they should be ready for that. We already defeated them at their own turf so do you expect them to beat us here in Mombasa? not possible!

“What we have been doing to the other teams is what we are going to do to Sofapaka. They beat AFC Leopards but we are Bandari,” Muhiddin charged.

Muhiddin, a former coach at the coastal-based club, has however urged his players to stay calm and focus on the job in order to finish the season on a high.

Muhiddin was speaking on behalf of head coach Bernard Mwalala who has been out on bereavement leave following the demise of his uncle.
